Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of SimCliQ, operated by SimCliQ, registered in the Netherlands (KvK 76153614, BTW NL003051165B94, Mastbos 517, 2134 NN Hoofddorp) ("SimCliQ", "we", "us"). By creating an account or buying an eSIM, you agree to these Terms.

1. What we provide

SimCliQ sells embedded SIM (eSIM) mobile-data plans for use while travelling. The underlying connectivity is supplied by our telecom partners and their network operators. We are a reseller of that connectivity, not a mobile network operator.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for keeping your account secure.

3. Device compatibility

eSIMs only work on eSIM-capable, carrier-unlocked devices. It is your responsibility to confirm your device is compatible before purchase. We provide guidance to help you check.

4. Orders, pricing and payment

Prices are shown at checkout in the stated currency and include applicable taxes unless noted. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store your full card details. An order is confirmed once payment succeeds.

5. Delivery and activation

eSIMs are delivered digitally as a QR code and activation profile, by email and in the app, shortly after payment. Plan validity and start conditions (for example, starting on first network connection) are shown on each plan. You are responsible for enabling data roaming where required.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service unlawfully, to resell it without our written consent, or in breach of a plan's fair-use policy. Plans are for personal travel use and may be subject to speed limits or fair-use caps as described at purchase. We may suspend eSIMs used abusively or fraudulently.

7. Refunds

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Service availability

Coverage, speeds and availability depend on third-party networks and your location and device. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not liable for partner-network outages outside our control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant eSIM. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Intellectual property

The SimCliQ name, logo, app and site content are owned by us or our licensors and may not be used without permission.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Haarlem (Rechtbank Noord-Holland), the Netherlands, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
